Next year we are planning a playing tour of ...that's to be decided by the members of the tour.
You must be signed up by this fall.
It will take all year to prepare the songs.
If you are interested in being part of the tour group, consider signing up for the summer workshops.
This will be an intense year of groups and lessons and those who are going on the tour need to be diligent and committed.
Parents will be encouraged to accompany their student on the trip.
A few days at the end of the trip will be unscheduled for you to take a private tour.
Students from other teachers: you may try out for the trip but you will need to commit to a weekly group lesson to hone the skills we will need and to learn to play as a group.

BE SURE TO PRINT ON CARD STOCK AND LAMINATE!!
Teamwork....What Position Does the Note Play? What position is the note playing on each team?
First, take a pile of the Teamwork cards and try to match the name of the interval with the number of 1/2 steps associated with that interval. Time yourself. See if you can improve your time.
Next, pile the Relationship Rhymes and Reasons cards in a pile in the center of the table. As a group, or just by yourself, match at least seven fact cards about each interval. It gets fun, fast and crazy....and best of all....you learn while having a great time.
